The good news is that there are more and more dances to post, with the hard part being staying on top of everything. So please please please email us with events, put ideas on the calendar, and help us make the Quad Cities Dance Community even more of a community!
Posting Guidelines:
Events must have open dancing as part of the event (lessons, showcases, performances, etc. can be listed in the message boards if they don't have open dancing with them)
Events must be in or close to the QCA

SuperLiberty is a Non Partisan Local Liberty Alliance.
We favor no party over another. We are neither Republican nor Democrat, Right nor Left, Conservative nor Liberal. In fact the American two party system helps to create a false issue based division amongst the people and helps to keep the people from uniting together under the common cause of personal Liberty.
Our group acts first and foremost to unite all local, state and national liberty minded groups together on the local level where effective change can take place at the grassroots level. We provide this website as a tool for any organizers who wish to keep in touch with their members in the Scott County and Rock Island County Areas. We have a start up kit available to anyone who wishes to organize a similar alliance in a different county not listed above at no cost to you.
Secondly, SuperLiberty acts as an educational and political force to mold our local governments into Liberty protecting forces as they originally were intended and as the law requires them to be.

Rights of persons. SEC. 1. All men and women are, by nature, free and equal, and have certain inalienable rights--among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness.
Political power. SEC. 2. All political power is inherent in the people. Government is instituted for the protection, security, and benefit of the people, and they have the right, at all times, to alter or reform the same, whenever the public good may require it.

SECTION 1. INHERENT AND INALIENABLE RIGHTS All men are by nature free and independent and have certain inherent and inalienable rights among which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To secure these rights and the protection of property, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
We are not a conspiracy group or a group of overly paranoid freaks. We do, however, believe in Constitutional law and order. We try to find truth and facts before jumping to conclusions. We don't believe media outlets (that have to seek permits or licenses from government officials to exist) can be completely free of special interest pressures and therefore are not credible sources of information, unlike most newspapers or internet bloggers/journalists. Those who wish to discredit groups like ours usually have something to hide and only attract our attention even more for further inquiries and investigation. We are essentially the American Citizen's watchdog on government. We do however believe that many people in government have good intentions, but like most people today, lack in a clear understanding of what philisophical principles this nation was founded on, and instead, tend to lead us down the road to our own demise.
Our understanding and Inspiration come not only from our Founding Fathers and their letters and documents, but also the Age of Enlightenment and John Locke, which was our forefather's inspiration. We encourage everyone to study this age and political philosopher to get a better understanding of the forces that played a role behind the creation of our great Delcaration Of Independence that reshaped the politcal structures long established for thousands of years on Earth. Our goal is to re-enlighten our friends, neighbors and loved ones in our local community and follow the example the people of Boston did long before our own American Revolution, by empowering the people through education of what their Rights are, where their Rights come from and what the proper role of their governments are.
Our Founding Fathers created a brilliant set of checks and balances in our system of government in order to help preserve each Individual's Liberties from overzealous government officials who abuse their powers granted to them or by the whims and passions of a majority of people. Most of us are familiar with the separation of Powers between our three government branches, however, we fail to understand our role as vigilant citizens. We the people are the last line of defense against abusive government officials or majority whims and passions.
All of our allied groups fall in one of our four defenses.
Defense number one is the soap box(public rallies, circulars, petitions).
Number two is the voting box(local, state and federal campaigns and elections).
Number three is the Jury box(local, state, and federal grand/trial Juries).
Number four is the last line of defense, the ammo box(Personal firearms and community militia groups).
These four are all specifically protected Rights under all our State's and Federal Constitutions. Our governments are strictly forbidden to trespass on these critical Rights because if these checks and balances are lost, we will unfortunately lose the only mechanisms to protect our personal Liberties.
Be sure to sign up and be a part of a real local solution and team of Liberty protecting Individuals. Help us educate and inspire others to Restore our Republic! Our Constitutions and American political philosophy cannot defend themselves, it requires average Americans to do her defending. The Quad Cities Blue Thong Society (QCBTS) has been an official Chapter of the national Blue Thong Society (www.bluethongsociety.com) since July 2007. Our purpose is to empower women (ages 21 and up) to enjoy life. Most of our 10 regular members are between the ages of 30 and 60. We believe the path to happiness is paved with togetherness; "Fight Frump with Fun!" We support local Domestic Violence Shelters.

This group is for people who live in and around the Quad Cities and love to read. We're about building friendships, as well as reading some great stories. The Quad Cities Social Club is a group of individuals who wish to get together to share interests and do things together. We aspire to be a community. This group is designed as a playgroup for the busy women who are trying to balance the demands of being a working professional with the fun of being "mom"! As a professor and mom in the QCA, I've had a hard time finding other working moms who have the ability to still get together throughout the week. Im hoping to find some other women in the same boat--working part or full time, but still able to play! I have several Stay at Home Mom friends, but would like to find some friends who may be having the same difficulties I do in balancing work and home.
Do you love the game? Do you enjoy socializing while playing? We welcome players of all experience levels. Our main objective is to have fun. Come and enjoy yourselves with other like-minded Euchre enthusiast! We will be holding games in various venues around the area. Suggestions for good places to play are always welcome. This meetup group is meant for those in their 20's-30's that are either athletic and adventurous, musicians, or both. For the athletic and adventurous, a few of the activities I envision include rock climbing, running, camping, backpacking, hiking, SCUBA, and martial arts. Also, travel incorporating some of the above activities. For musicians, this group can be used to facilitate jam sessions.

I decided to start this group so there could be a sharing for what leadership is and what it is not. Discussion of why we do not have good leaders today? Shining light through discussion on why followers are not groomed to be leaders and why they should be. Anyone who feels that leadership is lacking, or has experience with sharing their leadership skills are welcome.
